For the past year or so, I've been part of a supper club. It's a group of about 7-9 girls depending on the month. We are all in our mid 20s from around the area. It's such a fun group of ladies. Some of us are working, others are in school. We have married ladies, engaged, dating boyfriends for years and years, and some single. Last week, we got together for a baby shower...I'm pretty sure this is a supper club first! It was so fun! We had a delicious meal with cupcakes for dessert followed by games and presents!
I am seriously going to miss this when I move. Below from left to right, we have Melati, Tracy, me, Candace, Mary, and Regina. Everyone helped out...it was seriously awesome! Melati was in charge of the games, Tracy made the chili, Candace baked cornbread and brought the salad that Carrie (she was sick) made, Mary hosted, made the cupcakes and provided the drinks, and Regina brought appetizers! Seriously, seriously cool ladies! On top of all of that, they also got presents for Annabelle!
Annabelle was good and let everyone feel her move. She wasn't very active throughout the night, but as we were winding down, she was just getting started. It was so fun!
One of the games was decorating onesies. These ladies are pretty creative! Regina drew that goofy...I was impressed. She won for best onesie! I can't wait for Annabelle to wear all of them!
And I got some really, really cute things for Annabelle. This little girl is going to be set. And, the middle picture is my reaction when I saw the bathrobe! I was sooooo excited that someone actually bought it for her. I couldn't believe it! And the blanket I am holding up was made my Tracy's fiance's 93 year old grandmother. I've never even met Tracy's fiance and definitely never met his grandmother. How sweet is she to make two blankets for me? They are so cute! It's so amazing how generous people are. I just don't know how to say "Thank you" enough!
