On Sunday evening, I had a little heart-to-heart with myself. I came to accept the fact that I can no longer wear over 3/4 of the shirts in my previous wardrobe, so I cleaned out the closet and put those shirts in a box with the title of "non-preg shirts." I did this because on Saturday night, I was getting ready to go somewhere and just thought I would wear a button up shirt...ha, that was a joke! That shirt was an inch or two away from even being close to buttoned. Hello, boobs, did you really have to get that much bigger? I now have about 10 shirts hanging in my closet. I went from 10 black shirts to 10 shirts total. Sad! Don't be surprised if you see me wearing the same shirts every other week!
Since being pregnant I've tried to only buy clothes that I can wear when I am not pregnant too. I'm trying to keep the strictly maternity clothes to a minimum, but I might have to breakdown and buy some maternity pants. The be bands are really great and have saved me so much, but sometimes they bunch up and I feel like I have to keep pulling them up or down. If I do get some maternity pants, I think I'll only get one or two pairs.
Oh man, I saw a picture of me from last summer/early fall...I almost cried. I used to have a pretty flat stomach. I've never been a toothpick by any means, but it was really flat compared to now! Oh, the joys of being pregnant! I'm 30 weeks pregnant today...10 more weeks until our baby comes!

HA! I have had that non-preg clothes box packed for quite some time now! I didn't have a big enough box so a lot of it is still hanging up. I guess it'd be a good idea to take everything out that doesn't fit so Matt can see my limited options. -- You only really need one GOOD pair of maternity pants. It's sad but from my experience the more comfortable maternity jeans are $100 or more. Sure you'll find cheaper ones all over the place but the pair I LOVE were around $120. I actually wear them, the other maternity pants I've bought are collecting dust somewhere. I'm going to have to start looking for some good maternity capris now...and shirts :)
You make me laugh. It is a tough thing to come to grips with. When Annabelle arrives, you will be back to the flat belly in no time!
i think i told you this before, but I scored my only pair of maternity jeans at Old Navy for 5 bucks. They lasted the whole time too! p.s. you look great for 30 weeks. Pretty sure I looked like a whale at 30 weeks!!! Lets not even talk about how I look right this second. Get this kid outta me!
