27 hour beach trip!

On Saturday after a friend's fabulous baby shower, Ben and I headed to Myrtle Beach to hangout with my brother. He's a grad assistant for the Coastal men's bball team who was playing in the Big South conference championship. Sadly, they lost the game, but it was still soooo much fun hanging out with David! After the game Saturday, we went to the Carter's outlet to buy a couple of things for Annabelle before grabbing dinner and watching the Duke/UNC game. That was a pretty good game! :)
Sunday after church, we went to my brother's (another brother) beach house that is being built! David said there has already been so much work done on it since he was there last week. It's pretty exciting. They didn't have any ladders out, so Ben and David had to be creative getting up to see the house.

There I am...on the ground because they didn't think it would be safe for me to climb up there...boo! So what if I am almost 7 months pregnant, I think I could have done it...

The house is seriously half a black from the beach...I know where I'll be this summer!!! :) It was so windy and pretty cold, but still awesome to be at the beach. This is the first time we have been to the beach in months! I can't wait for it to get warmer so we can really enjoy it.

Aww, my little punky! He's great!

This was Annabelle's first time to the beach! We are starting her young so she can be a great beach bum just like her Uncle David! ;)

The beach inspired Ben and David, so they made up their own version of the river dance...it was hilarious! I'm soooo glad they get along so well and love spending time together! It makes me smile!

Yay for the beach! We can't wait to go back! And don't worry, Dude, we'll take really good care of your house while you aren't there! :)

We had to come back to NC after dinner that night because I have work this week. Ben is now on Spring Break!!! Yay!!! And, just for anyone who cares, 9 weeks from yesterday will be Ben's commencement ceremony! But who's counting?!?!?!
