Due to encouragement from friends (thank you, Ashley), I have decided to post more stuff on our blog! I know y'all are jumping with joy...
So, 2009 has been good to us so far. Ben had a good semester in the fall, and is shooting for straight A's this semester. I think he can do it. Once he gets his mind on something, it is hard to distract him. Luckily, he already knows where he will be for the summer. He will start the summer off going to NYC for 10 weeks to work for King & Spalding, and then finish the summer in Charleston working for Nelson Mullins. Sadly, I will be here in Chapel Hill, but King & Spalding will pay for up to $800 worth of travel for the spouse! Yay! So, that means I'll just be up in NYC for the weekends, which should be fun! Another thing that will make the summer bearable is that my friend, Ashley, will also be in Chapel Hill while her husband, Carleton, will be in DC and Charlotte. Carleton is a 2L at Duke, and they just got married in October. We hangout with them all the time...seriously, all the time, and it's the best!
I still work at the Odum Institute at UNC. Definitely not my dream job, but it pays the bills.
Ben and I love the young, married, no baby life... it's so fun!
