Then...and Now

Then = before baby
Now = after baby

Then: I would sleep 9-10 hours (sometimes 12) at a time without any interruption.
Now: I count myself a lucky lady when I get 3 hours

Then: I didn't change diapers or deal with another person's pee or poop.
Now: I change diapers frequently and have had pee and poop on my hand.

Then: My morning routine would be to wake up, take a shower, get dressed, put on make up, and go to work.
Now: My morning routine is to feed a baby and go back to sleep as soon as possible.

Then: I would actually get dressed for the day.
Now: My daily outfit includes nursing bras and pajama pants.

Then: I used to shower daily.
Now: Every other day is good.

Then: My stomach was pretty flat with some muscle definition.
Now: I feel like the pillsbury dough girl... :(

Then: I never prayed for my nipples.
Now: I'm tempted to include something about my nipples in every prayer.

Then: I didn't know what a cow felt like.
Now: I feel like a prized hefer.

Then: My favorite thing in the world was sleeping or working out.
Now: My favorite thing in the world is a sleeping baby on my chest.

Then: I didn't have a fabulous, cute, sweet baby.
Now: I do and she is funny and I love her to pieces!

I feel ya, sister! :) I laughed out loud a couple of times because everything is SO true. I hope you're doing well! Being a mommy is a wonderfully exhausting thing.
